I wanted to take a semester of German, too, but all the courses there were are ridulously expensive. Scholarships might enable me to do it though. ::ponders::

Much has been done today (and yesterday, mind).
1) I got a new e-mail address, so now anyone who wants to contact me, can. invalid_friend(a)yahoo.co.uk is the deal.
2) I remodelled. Darren Hayes was most hot back in the days. Too bad he isn't anymore, huh? Of course, I already have an idea for a new layout. Heh. Can't wait to execute it and all.
3) This I mention last, not because it's the least important of the things, but because it is so special. Amber offered to host me! <3 <3 <3 to her, yesh. So, I uploaded the graphics and such there, and then I added a few pages to it all. (There are pictures of Arin up now, so all anonymity goes. But hah, that's what the note is for.)

"I could have sworn he didn't have more than a bump on hish head," muttered Legolam under the cover of his sleeve.
"Aye," replied Arrowroot, shooting the elf a withering glance, "so it might seem to one unschooled in the art of healing. But that bump, that fatal bump, 'twas his downfall. 'Twas water on the brain. 'Tis ninety-percent fatal. Forced I was to amputate. Sad, very sad."

Oh my, oh my, oh my. Bored of the Rings is quite possibly one of the funniest books I've ever read. And I'm so happy that my greatgrandmother was obsessed with murder stories, because that's about the only reason I got the Ngaio Marsh-jokes. But I did, and I'm happy, because those were awesome. Heh.
I'm going to kill the domain I keep all the graphics and style sheets for Akimbo on. So, I need to either a) find a free host that allows direct linking, and isn't too much of a pain in the arse with downtime and the like, or b) get myself a bit of hosting. I'd prefer option b), but it's hardly likely to happen, so I'm going free server hunting tomorrow. Any hints on where I should look? I can't stand geoshitties or angelfire, so no thanks to those.

Amber is moving about, it seems. The new domain has an equally awesome name. Yes. (Oh, and I'm really curious. How did you find me, Amber? Sorry if it's a stupid question, but I'm interested. =P)
There was a time when I wanted bleedingbastard.org to be mine. Not sure if I do anymore. Maybe one day, when I have money and a credit card (already having two domains, I'm not all too comfortable asking mum to let me borrow her card again). =P And if it's not been snatched up by then.
Going down to the south of Sweden again today. Visiting both sets of grandparents. Someone please strangle me now? See, mum's old folks aren't that bad, but the pair who spawned my father are utterly horrible. I don't like them much at all. And yes, this makes me feel bad, because they are old and ill, and my brother and I are their only grandchildren.
I might have to stay with them for three full weeks in January whilst working at a laboratory. The lab thing would be fun, the rest wouldn't. It would give me money though, so somehow I'd have to manage. Not sure they'd have me though, whatwith grandma being old and sick and all. Also know that if it would work with me staying there, they'd be thrilled about it. Grr.
And I have plans for New Years this year! Amazing, isn't it? Arin never has plans for New Years. I'll be going away on a course for four days, and be around loads and bunches of other people. A shall be there too, thankfully, so it shall prove fun. I hope.

So, yesterday was Christmas Eve and the day that Swedes celebrate their Christmas. Haha, how fucking fun. Bah. I didn't celebrate. Ate some Yule tide food, but that is all.
I spent the day reading slashfics, watching Gone With The Wind, making layouts and reading Coraline. Good way of spending it, I must say. If you are a slash fanatic, you are. =P
I feel bad because of all the Christmas greetings that awaited me in my inbox this morning. Almost feel as though I should manufacture some semblance of a holiday greeting and send it out. Maybe. If I don't think it takes too much time. =P
On another note, Lynn has a sexy new layout again. Ahaha, Lynn rocks my likkal Swedish socks. I tell you. Yesh.
And I added another link. To Amber, because she commented here and so I discovered her. <3 the domain name, and all the German spread about the place. Layout rocks too, and yessum, Arin shall be a reader from now on.

Haha, I got paid today! Sort of, anyway. I found out how much money I'm getting, and they transfer it to my account tomorrow. Yay! Money = good. At least if you've been penniless for a while and not been able to do anything that involves a certain amount of cashflow.
My brother isn't home now, so the house is quiet and peaceful. So, okay, it's not much more so now than when he is home, but it's still nice to have him being away for a little while.
I'm knitting a scarf now. A Slytherin scarf. Slytherin scarves rock, and thus Arin shall do the same once the scarf has been completed. Knitting is fun, I might add.
